I'm having a weird problem with my computer.
I have 8 USB ports on my computer
2 Front
4 Back
2 Internal (as an expansion, this is for my Bluetooth adapter and my usb wireless card)
THERE HAVE BEEN NO CHANGES TO MY COMPUTER PRIOR TO THE PROBLEM (Drivers, games, other hardware)
My keyboard and mouse just stop working for no reason, the G15 keyboard will rapidly pulse(all the lights on it will strobe VERY fast) the LCD monitor goes out( just the display, the backlight pulses with the rest of the keys) no keys work, when i reconnect it no power at all, everything is out, this is with the 2 back and 2 front usb ports and 1 of the internal ones, the other 3 work fine(well for now). Same thing with the mouse, a G9 except it will randomly blink much slower and the colors may or may not change while blinking and the LED indicators may be in different positions at every blink (its random) it also will not reconnect to the same port, but will work on the same other 3 as the G15 except the cursor will randomly freeze and it may shut off and require a reconnect to one of the 3 functional ports. I have a 2nd keyboard (a ThermalTake Esports challenger?) that will work on ALL usb ports even after the problem with the G15, there is no 2nd mouse to test.
AFTER this started i reinstalled the drivers for my keyboard and mouse, this made no difference.
The only thing that will fix this is to restart my PC and then it will happen again(sometimes in a few minutes, sometimes in a few hours)
I can replace my keyboard with the other one, but i DO NOT have an alternate mouse.
Sorry for any errors, i'm trying to get this posted before something messes up again.
EDIT: I also have a Logitech G27 racing wheel, when i plug this in AFTER the problem occurs it will constantly calibrate(by doing full rotations by itslef) and will not stop, i also have a Saitek Cyborg Evo flight stick if i plug it in after the problem IT WORKS, It appears to be just logitech devices.
IMPORTANT
I just found out that my G9 has a bad cable and just ordered a Cyborg Rat 7, could this bad wire cause the mouse to send something back to my usb port that somehow makes my keyboard and any other logitech equipment go batshit crazy?
