In Google Calendar, the left and right arrow buttons on the top left go back and forward in time, respectively.
Left goes back, right goes forward. This makes sense.
The keyboard shortcut to go back in time is K. The shortcut to go forward is J. I don't know what keyboards you're using, Google, but K is on the [B]right[/B] and J is on the [B]left[/B].

Gmail has this problem too, but there's a lab feature that lets you customize your keyboard shortcuts. Calendar has no such option.
