• Computer Not recognising all four cores.

I recently upgrading my processor (Athlon X2 5600 to a Phenom II 945) and it is only recognising 2 of the cores. I have tried reinstalling drivers, uninstalled the current CPU drivers, and checking the AMD website. I got a new motherboard, a Gigabyte MA78LM-S2H. I have installed all the drivers for it, so i am sure it is windows-sided. [editline]07:07PM[/editline] Device manager sees it has having four processor cores, just nothing else does.
sysconfig>advance options>check box "number of processors," if you already have not, then select 4 if it hasn't already. save>reboot try that
[QUOTE=Craptasket;19592485]sysconfig>advance options>check box "number of processors," if you already have not, then select 4 if it hasn't already. save>reboot try that[/QUOTE] Where can I find sysconfig? [editline]07:12PM[/editline] nevermind [editline]07:12PM[/editline] only shows 1 and 2
Update motherboard firmware.
bios? [editline]07:41PM[/editline] Disabled the amount of cores i had told sysconfig I had, restarted and it fixed it. Thanks for helping
