New gaming keyboard(Can't find one to replace G15v1) - Hardware & Software

So my G15 display and LED's have started to flicker, badly, and it doesn't really work that well with insanely fast typing anymore, so I think I'll part with it, but I can't really decide what to migrate to, I won't go to the bastard brother(G15v2) and the new Gwhatever with display is just too odd looking, so I'm trying to figure out what to choose, razer, etc, anyone have a good replacement? Whatever one you get make sure all the keys illuminate. I'd die without my glowing keys.

Amen to that, that's why I'm probably not gonna choose the tarantula.

so what's the anti ghosting on the orange G15? I gotta admit that the display is <3, especially for evemon(if you play eve you practically HAVE to have this, and it shows on the display)

how about the Microsoft sidewinder(cant remember number, 6 maybe?) keyboard? I have one, its great, about 6 separate macro keys with 3 keyboard settings making it effectively 18 keys. it also has a detachable numpad, so when your not playing gmod you can remove it and have more mouse space. it also has knobs that control keyboard brightness and volume, so much better than buttons.

Digging that Sidewinder love, bro ;). It really is a fucking sexy keyboard. It's a godsend for playing Gmod, I just rip off the numpad and slap it on the opposite side so I can fire up my thrusters without moving my hand off the mouse :v:. It takes maybe 2 - 3 seconds at most to detect the numpad and have you going again. I'd say G19. If you don't want to drop that much on a keyboard, get the Saitek Eclipse II.

Razer Lycosa looks pretty cool. I've heard good things about the Saitek keyboards as well, but don't have any first-hand experience.

That's the problem with keyboards and mice etc. It's really a personal preference, hence why you need to try before you buy.
