This is for ARMA 2.
I put all the VopSound 2.1 files in the Addons folder and the sounds don't even work.

1. There is an Arma section of the forums.
2. Delete whatever you just did. Create a folder in your main directory, make a folder called "addons" in said folder. Place .pbos inside that folder. On your Arma shortcut at the very end type "-mod=@<foldernamehere>". Obviously, <foldernamehere> is the folder you created that has the "addons" folder in it.
3. If you use Armaholic it has directions like above, on each download page.
Yes, I do know where the ARMA section is, but nobody ever responds there.
I made a folder called VopSound 2.1 in my main directory, made an "addons" folder inside that, put every .pbo file in it, put that -mods=@<vopsound 2.1> as a launch option on ARMA 2 in Steam, and the sounds are still the defaults.
Rename the "VopSound 2.1" folder to "vopsound"
The command line should be "-mod=@vopsound" (No quotes)
Once again there are mod folder instructions online if you look.
