Streetpass is fucking useless in Australia
I've had a 3DS for a year. I have it with me every time I leave the house. I've gotten 1 street pass ever.
I only know two people with 3DSs locally.
Streetpass is fucking useless in Australia
Streetpass is pretty useless anywhere that isn't Japan unless you're at a con or some other nerd function. I recall reading a story about a Nintendo of Japan exec coming to New York and standing in the middle of Times Square and being appalled to find that he had zero streetpasses.
I got a ton of street passes over a year at my university, probably like ~400 total. Probably will get less now that I graduated, but it was fun then. I'm sure if you bring it to school you'll get some, I love close to a school and get street passes from people walking to it sometimes.

Went to a convention and decided to bring the 3DS and turn it on. Got like 30 streetpasses.
The biggest problem is probably the fact that it has to be on
I actually had 3 streetpass hits by just walking 5m in my flat. They're never seen again.
Ever since they made NintendoZones (McDonalds, some shops) Streetpass relays, it's really easy to get a load
Streetpass is fucking useless in Australia
You think that's bad, try getting streetpasses in a country with a total population of 300.000... At least I sometimes find people when I visit America.
I've only gotten two people on the Streetpass and that's a personal friend of mine and some German chick when I went to the island of Ibiza whilst hanging around the hotel lobby.
Just make your own relay with a mac address cycler if you want street passes
Zero passes here too, then again I didn't expect any in the first place At least most games that have the StreetPass function allow you to use play coins instead
I get a few most of the times I go into town or to school
I've had a 3DS for a year. I have it with me every time I leave the house. I've gotten 1 street pass ever.
ive taken it with me to 4 airports and ive got 5 streetpasses but never one locally
Dumb question, but why is this an article? The 3DS and these games have been out for ages, now. We... already know how the Streetpass games work.
I get about 6-8 a day on average if I take my 3DS to college. My brother works in a train station and almost always gets 10+.
attend community college, swim in streetpasses
I've gotten about 70 unique passes over the last year here in Birmingham, Alabama. I keep it on and charged in my bag, and I never go anywhere without my bag so that helps. [editline]31st December 2013[/editline] Also, doesn't Link Between Worlds have a Nintendoized Dark Souls invasion thing going for it? I know there is supposed to be some system where you pick gear you want your Dark Link to use and he can invade other players when you tag them on Streetpass. I've got nearly 100% completion though and never actually seen it in play though so I'm not sure exactly how it works when you get invaded or anything.
Funny thing was I got most of my streetpasses at a home depot :v:
Had mine since launch. I like most of the street pass games, sept for Mii Force. I dunno, just think of the general mentality of a street pass game. I go around a convention, notice my light is green, and open it up to go street pass everyone I passed. Most of these games I can finish in a couple minutes, some even as short as a minute. You just add whatever you passed to your collection and move on. Mii Force however from it's lobby and intro to it's actual gameplay will take almost as long as every other game combined, and you can't play it with just the "use what you got" mentality, the best and only way I want to play is if I have a full lobby of 10 people in my group because you have to use them all in a level by level basis. It's just a poor choice in general for this kinda game and I rarely to never actually touch it anymore. It's odd because I first I was super excited for it as being the most like a real game and made fun of Flower Town, but as I put them to the field at a convention, I realized just the opposite, that Flower Town was the perfect kinda idea for this thing and Mii Force just gets the shaft as a "I don't have the time for this" kinda thing.
