Games like the most obvious Diablo series or Torchlight. I've played those games previously mentioned as well as Borderlands 1 & 2, Divine Divinity, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege, Sacred etc. Thanks in advance.
M.V.M? :v:
Path of Exile, it's $10 now but it'll be free in the future. Consumable stat-altering 'orbs' are used as currency instead of money.
Fallout series. :v:
There's a free flash game on Armor Games called Dead Zone (it's apart of The Last Stand series). The entire game revolves around looting. It requires registration but I find it pleasing enough. Dead Zone
Skyrim? Try to collect ALL unique weapons and armor. I dare you. Also one set and one of each armor and weapon in the game, including all Hold armors.
Dungeons of Dredmor http://store.steampowered.com/app/98800/ Oh look at that, it's on sale for $1.25.
world of warcraft
Dead Island?
Fallout games, definitely.
STALKER + weight limit removal
TES & Fallout series
Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms but they both happen to be on PS2.
Borderlands
if you like tin cans, Baked beans and bandages, DayZ mod
Fallout series. :v:
Another vote for these games. 2D or 3D it doesn't matter, they all let you fill your backpack with, quite literally, hundreds of pounds of old toasters and assault rifles. Go nuts.
Hellgate: London
Too Human, if you can get over everything else that's wrong with it.
TF2
GTA You can kill a whore and loot her money, so it's a loot whore game
borderlands, fallout series, TES series
Hellgate: London
That game still live? I've been thinking about it recently
Skyrim? Try to collect ALL unique weapons and armor. I dare you. Also one set and one of each armor and weapon in the game, including all Hold armors.
Seconded. In fact, just do what I do and take every damn thing you see.
Guild Wars 2 basically follows the same formula Normally I wouldn't recommend an MMO in a thread like this, but since it doesn't have a sub fee it's no different than an average game really.
Mass Effect 2
Grimrock? It's pretty fun
Mass Effect 2
where exactly is the loot
Hellgate: London
Gah, bought that thing then a week later servers go down and now it's free to play Otherwise it's a really good game
Any game by Bethesda.
