• Getting a new GPU, are my other specs sufficient for it?

Basically I'm upgrading from a HD 5770 to an HD 6870. Will my current rig be capable of just letting me switch out the GPUs or will I need to upgrade anything else? These are my current specs, I don't know what the PSU is but I'll try and find the box and update the OP with it. This is the 6870 I'm planning on purchasing http://www.ebuyer.com/product/244474
You are fine unless your PSU is a gigantic piece of shit.
Its an 850W Coolermaster something or other I think. I can't find the box for it so I probably chucked it away. Thanks.
Sorry for basically hijacking your thread, but I have the same question and I didn't really think it was worth making a new thread. Are any of the other components in this system a major bottleneck, i'm not planning on upgrading as highly as the 6870 or anything like that, but just to bring it more up to date. Your 9950 will bottleneck pretty much everything at that resolution
