Okay wtf, i just came home and saw my goldfish laying at it's side on bottom of the tank, it's breathing and it's trying to move and it rotates randomly. I immediately moved it into a plastic container with fresh water, what do i do? I don't want it to die. :(
Check the filter on your tank, just incase the water could be dirty. That is really all i can say. i hope your buddy survives!
Okay, it seems it's stabilizing, it swims slow but straight again, and it's gasping for air at top of container. It seems the water was too hot and went out of oxygen.
I don't know if it's really helping, i removed everything from the tank and added fresh water and moved the fish into it. It keeps swiming but periodically lies on the bottom and it looks very weak, it can't swim with the water filter turned on, so i'm keeping it temporary off.
do you have a thermometer in the tank?
Did you use tap water to fill the tank? You might need to add a chemical to get rid of the fluorine, it is poisonous to fish.
I
Well i have the fish for a few months now and i've always used tap water for it's tank, i'm living on a village and the water is clean. Also good news, the fish is perfectly fine now.
