• Does the HD5870 perform better than GTX295?

I'm most certainly curious about this. Does the ATi HD 5870 perform better than the nVidia GTX 295? It sounds unrealistic that a single GPU performs better than the dual GPUs in GTX295. If you are able to, please include a benchmark result.

It's a pretty good card and performs just as good/better than a card that's just an x2 with another name [editline]12:50PM[/editline] it's really what you prefer. The 4870X2 isn't really better than the 295, it's just that the 295 incurrs a memory bottle neck at such a high resolution.
