Well i have found a brand new iPhone 3G for 223 USD (164 Euro). Its still seald and on FW 2.2.1. Is it still worth it ? I mean worth to buy
Iphones are cool, their OS is simple, they have a wide variety of music and applications, and they're fun and easy to use. With that said, they're not 223$ cool. Theirs cheaper android phones that can do more things, and do things the iphone does better. I got myself an android "Commando", it's waterproof, dust proof, shock proof, and has a built in flashlight, and it runs on the android OS so it's a smartphone with assess to all the android apps. For only a1 00$ too with a plan. Hope that helps.
Androids are far superior at most tasks and generally cheaper.
Im still looking :/ I have a Nokia n79 now and its not working properly anymore.. i found that iphone 3g cheap and thought about buying it mhm thanks anyway
Buy some Samsung that has Android os, i approve.
wait for the iphone 4
wait for the iphone 4
iphone 4 came out
iphone 4 came out
I think he meant waiting money-wise.
How much money are you willing to spend? iPhone 3G is pretty outdated, and not officially supported anymore. 3GS isn't going to be around much longer either. Your best bet is an iPhone 4 or an Android phone. Just tell me how much money you have, and I'm sure I'll find a good phone on amazon for you.
Apple products are never worth buying.
The iPhone is actually a really good phone and honestly I don't think you could 'not like' one. Once jailbroken they can do most things you would ever want them to do and they work really well. Androids may be better and more cost effective, but iPhones are iPhones, and they are in no way 'crap'.
I'm thinking of getting a Android, how does the internet work on phones? I never had it before, and someone told me that it can pick up my wi-fi from my computer, but then my parents say the phone company still charges you for it.
Get an Android phone, and carriers can't charge you for using wi-fi. They charge by the megabyte if you use mobile internet. Wi-fi has nothing to do with you cell phone plan.

In the settings there is an option to disable mobile network so you cant use your data but can still call people and shit. Disable that and if you leave your WiFi range it will just say it has no internet connection. [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] And im posting from android so you know its cool.
iPhones are really nice, but the 3G is outdated. If you do mind support, it's best if you get the 4 or whatever new version will come out soon. If that'll cost too much, you could probably go for an android. OP it sounds like a really horrible deal. Either buy one of the later versions for that price or get a better phone. Just go on a plan that's like $40 a month for an iPhone 4. In the end it's more expensive (Plans go for 2 years). But you will get lots of calls and internet time (Which i'm assuming you wouldn't get from just buying the phone, so you'd have to go on a plan anyway).
No, get a cheap Android, much better.
You could go with the ipod touch. You get most, if not all of the same apps, and wireless internet. Then you can have some other cheaper phone for calling/texting?
READ!!!!!!!!!!! Don't pay 223 fucking bucks for that shit. I had one and have actually upgraded to a iPhone 4 this past March. AT&T has iPhone 3Gs for $50. That's all they're worth now. Don't get cheated.
I just got a 3GS on contract for being a loyal customer, free for the phone and I can even send it back if I don't like it. Couldn't really say no. [editline]stop quoting me[/editline] just rang them up and swapped it out for a desire s, fuck apple.
Well im willing to pay 200€ for a Phone, thinkin about getting a Nexus S or somethn
be careful, it might be awkward to change and you may have to break some TOS to do so.
if i knew what TOS was i might be woried, i also have to factor in shipping, and costoms might shit bricks at me.
terms of service mate, that massive pile of small print no one ever really reads. customs often charge you tax based on the "cost" of the product being sent. if you can get it shipped as a gift then they can't tax it but if its a purchase for yourself, such as the iphone, they are likely to tax you.

I think they can be jailbroken to work another sim though. Just type in iPhone 3G with UK sim. It might help.
