I'm not a fan of System of a Down but that trailer was really fun.

0:41 specifically.
Holy shit did I just see Liu Kang kick someone in the stomach and tear them in half with his feet? :v:
Love SOAD, Chop Suey is cool, but nowhere near their best. But this was a fucking awesome cut and trailer!
I've never been this pumped to see the story of a MK game. MK9's story mode was amazing, this looks like they're making it even more cinematic.
They managed to make the fan made music video before fans did.
Can't wait until the next trailer has Linkin Park in it.

Fan made? Quite the opposite in fact, as System Of A Down's bassist directed the entire trailer.

I didn't say it was fan made, i said it was like they made a fan made trailer before the fans did.

Might have been what you meant, not what you said.

He's poking fun at the music choice. SOAD is pretty common for fan made music videos.
SOAD has done so many songs better than chop suey.
Innervision would have been a good one to use I think, Chop Suey I feel like is just the go-to song for System of a Down
An obvious reference to the x-ray moves, also the song's really varied which is always good for editing trailer footage
The one game where "Bodies" by Drowning Pool would actually be appropriate and they chose Chop Suey. It was still pretty cool.
