My CPU is overheating, and quite badly may I add. I've been using SpeedFan to monitor my CPU Temperature, and it just hit 100 C. I was wondering, is there anyway to boot up my fan speed past 100% or am I basically fucked? I'm using the stock fan because my other fan only runs at about 1/3rd the normal speed (300 RPM's as apposed to the stocks 1K.)
Mind you, this is just some light World of Warcraft playing. Leveling, to be exact.
Sounds like your fain is dying. It should be fairly easy to replace though.
In the mean time make sure that your heatsink is clean.

It's a stock fan that came in around 4 days ago. The fan is fine, and heatsink is clean.

Also, the CPU is an AMD Phenom X2 550 Black Edition Callisto.

Also, another thing, it says that I have 2 CPU's, CPU0 and CPU1. CPU0 is 100C and CPU1 is 70'ish.
You can force the voltage to the fan up in the bios just go in small increments and don't go over the top.
Sounds like some one fucked up the installation of his cpu cooler. Take it off wipe it clean and get some new thermal paste on it.
Before you do that use hwmonitor it's way better at reading temperatures then speed fan.
