Is there a way I can turn coordinates into a map or directions?

Hey, I read about the Bioshock 2 marketing thing and it seemed interesting. The beach is near where I live but the problem is, there is 6 parts to the beach. There is these cords

"40,35'N 73,30'W = Jones Beach, NY"

Both my dad and I can't figure the cords out. I want to know, is there some sort of program that can turn the cords into a map or directions?
