Although, I'm still fucking pissed about medal of honor going modern, so I guess I get what the fans are feeling.

They are abusing the brand name for sales. It is not a Brothers in Arms game. It is a game with that IP name slapped on so it'll get more sales.
That good thing is...they said that they will make a serious Brothers in Arms just like the old ones with Baker and co. so I can clearly just leave this out.

You guys also do realize that it's not a proper sequel to BiA series, more of a sidestep/subseries. They're still making a proper sequel, too, AFAIK.
Like with Battlefield series having Battlefield: Bad Company etc.

People who are bitching about it have BiA in the name need to realize it costs a LOT of money to push out a new IP. Which is why money-hoarders like Activision and EA do a lot of sequels.
Gearbox isn't the richest of companies, and attaching this as a NON-CANONICAL WHIMSICAL SHOOTFEST to a good series is perfectly ok. This game has no effect on Baker or anyone else in the BiA universe. This is just like everyone who bitched about Bioshock Infinite having Bioshock in the title.

considering the original BiA:RTH30 was made to try and break the mold of dull WWII shooters by creating a realistic, atmospheric squad-based shooter, i'd say it's a travesty to turn it into a retarded goofy gorefest.
The original BiA games were based on true stories, this is just a disgrace to all of it.

Uhh, guys, it's 'evolved' and that's a screenshot from last year. You remember what happened with Borderlands? 2008, nobody cared. They reworked the whole thing in a year with cel-shading and sillyness. They seem to be doing the opposite here, but I'd have to see recent footage to judge it.
