What
I know, is that latin in the patch notes?!
Why do they keep using the same damn mutations?
Are all these problems in the L4D1 campaigns also in L4D1 itself? Because shouldn't they also be applying these fixes to L4D1 then?
L4D1 feels very abandoned...

CASTRATE THEM AND HANG THEM IN THE STREETS!
On a serious note, good patch. Fucking tired of early crescendos.
Why do they keep using the same damn mutations?
I think it was in January or February that they mentioned that there was some sort of issue with the Mutant Overlord achievement and new mutations. Seems like something that should have been fixed by now, but they ARE working on other things now.

Which part are they referring to? I haven't played L4D in a long-ass time.

There was a certain spot on the 3rd map. Right out of the safe room and around the corner there is the half-built building. If you were lucky enough a molly would spawn right outside the safe room which you could throw right through the windows , triggering the event so the survivors could fight the event in the safe room.
I like how summer is nearly over and this thing still isn't out yet.
Summer Valve Time (summer 2012).

What thing?
All the L4D1 campaigns and whatever that DLC the community made is called
What thing?
Cold Stream DLC pack.
All the releases so far are betas. Cold Stream & the original L4D1 campaigns were suppose to be post-Portal 2 releases, then Summer release, now it's Fall release :v:.
My guess is the guy working on Cold Stream just got lazy and Valve's waiting for him to get his shit together.

the map's p. bad on versus.
i haven't seen a single team make it to the finale, let alone complete a normal map.
I hated it on campaign too, during the Summer camp event.

It's remote detonated!

It's actually still summer as far as I've understood it by these Americans odd ways of labeling seasons.

It's not the "odd American way". According to the Gregorian calendar, the last official day of summer is September 23rd.

Winter: December - January - February
Spring: March - April - May
Summer: June - July - August
Autumn: September - October - November
It's odd to stop a season in the middle of a month.
The first time I ever heard of such a ridiculous thing was just a week or two ago.

Except that that's not how it works, the seasons were determined by climate and crop growing cycles, not by an arbitrary naming system.
Are you guys seriously arguing seasons in a left 4 dead 2 update thread?

If we were to follow that then a season would end differently every year because it's always different.
Back when the system was created it was actually necessary to know in order to survive. Nowadays it's just a pinpoint for when it starts to get cold or warm, when the holidays are and when the vegetables should be harvested.

What about the Solar Equinox, then?
What about the Solar Equinox, then?
Never heard of, but looking it up I guess that works? I still don't see why Summer can't just be the three months of summer instead of moving it every year when there is no reason to do so.
It's useful for things that requires more specific times to plant seeds and such, but for everyday life? Definitely better with "these months are summer, end of".
