It's been a while since we've had a good skateboarding game. I miss the days of the earlier Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, so I might just pick this up when I have the time to spare.

Looks more to me like a Lovecraftian Dark Souls-esque roguelike crossed with Minecraft, Tony Hawk's, and Rocket League.

Like Skyrim with guns.
But is it surprisingly easy to turn into Overwatch?

If it's not procedurally generated I won't buy it.
A dark souls skateboarding game would be pretty fucking tense. If you screw up a trick and bail, you lose all your points and have to start the level over. Only way to get your points back is nail the trick you were trying to do in the same spot.
And instead of ska and pop punk, the soundtrack is bombastic orchestral music.

The problem is it's not a good skateboard game.
Even doing a manual is difficult; you have to jump, tilt your board upwards, then hold X and up if you're on controller.
That means no standing manuals; you HAVE to jump. Also you can just grind forever.
And online doesn't work.
I wish the Skate series was on PC...
