I mainly listen to electronic, ambient and alternative lately.

I listen to everything that sounds good, I am not bound by genre, but i generally lean towards electronic.
Real men leave their equalizers flat. Things are mixed the way they should be heard.

EQ can be used to make up for defects in the equipment, not just the source.
I leave them flat because I bounce between genres and styles constantly, so I'd have to set it constantly otherwise. Besides, I don't notice much of a difference changing it most of the time anyway.
On the other hand, in my car I max the bass out because lolrap.
the EQ that sounds best depends on the music you're listening to, your specific preference, and what you're listening to it with. i don't deny eq makes a difference in the enjoyability of music but when you really want to appreciate a song eq is best left flat.
When I just listen to random music I got I use this

I turned of my equalizer, and I guess the only thing I can say is...Thanks? Was a while ago I tured it off and it sounds more clean.

Don't really have a specific music preference, but this works out for most things.
