Recently whenever I boot up my HDD makes this clicking sound and then after it boots it goes away and my computer runs fine. I did a memory check and it was fine but I'm scared. :ohdear:

My hdd for my laptop used to click and clack like a fucking barnyard animal. I'd say it's fairly normal.
I did a memory check
I can't seem to find my faith in humanity, could someone lend me theirs?
I would but I lost mine too. NOES.

Hard Drives are durable things. Maybe clicking is just your hard-drive's way of booting up. If a click scares ya, wait 'till one of your fans start dying >;D

Unusual hard drive noise is generally bad, that's how data recovery businesses quickly scan for dead drives.
Go start then click run and type in chkdsk /r /f
