I was thinking about the XFX 1.5GB 9600GSO
but i was wondering how good this is compared to a 512mb ATI Radeon HD 4770.
any ideas on a GPU? around £70... i am also wondering on whether my PSU will be ok, it came with the stock case i bought...
i've already got this PC btw, i'm just upgrading my GPU from a 8500GT
What's the brand of your oh shit 450W generic?

That's the thing! it doesn't have a brand.
and really, i thought video memory mattered, wouldn't a 1.5GB be much more powerful?

Not really.
No.
You wouldn't see benefits from 1.5GB of VRAM on a shitty card until you hit 1920x1200+.
