No. It barley makes any difference. I tested it myself in lots of games, and the off/on results were easily within margin of error.

It would only slow down programs that used 8 threads which are very few to none. So while there are no programs to utilize it why don't you disable it. Also if you notice the highest end test machines are ran with hyperthreading disabled. :downs:

Maybe because its a feature you pay for, and it doesn't do anything bad unless you're overclocking? (you need a bit more Vcore most of the time than without, usually like 0.05 more)

You are pointing out that it doesn't do anything bad but it does improve gaming if you disable it so why not use the small performance boost you can get by disabling it. Since not many computers use 8 threads outside of a server environment.

8 threads can be used in video editing programs, video render program, 3d modeling programs which a lot of people i know on steam use. You want me to find more uses or what?
