Black|Silver
Hey all, I'm starting a new build for my brother that will be a MicroATX Build. So far I have a list of the parts I'm going to use, and a general idea of how I'm going to water cool this build in such a small case.
HardWare:

Case: Antex Mini P180 (Black)

CPU: i5 760

MoBo: Asus Maximus III Gene

GPU: 2x 460 GTX SLI

Ram: Corsair 2x2GB

HDD: VeliocRaptor 300GB

PSU: Silvestone 750W
Water Cooling:

CPU: EK Supreme LT

GPU: EK-FC460

RAD: 2x HWLabs Black Ice GTX M184
Tell me what you guys think so far, or what you think I should change.

The size of the actual computer is too big to be considered "mini" or "micro" to be honest
Looks pretty good, although are you sure 2 460s will fit in the case?!

If it really were to be a "mini" build it should be atleast a Mini-ITX, should be like a, nano-ITX.

Pico ITX is my favorite motherboard form factor :h:

If you can afford it to begin with, that is.

Yeah your right I should probably rename the build to something more appropriate, Any ideas anyone?

The mother board seems like it will take it, and it should fit in the case, and if not I can just remove the HDD box on the side

Project BroBuild. I dunno.
Small Update:
I've renamed the build to Gamma Core, seeing how the last Gamma Core never got finished. (Only problem is I don't know how to change the thread title)
I'll try to go with Nickle Blocks and Silver/Black for the Colors and go with a sort of yellow or orange liquid with clear tubes.
Project Bromance
Project BroBuild. I dunno.

Project Bromance
That actually does sound like some good ideas. Bro title or Gamma Core?
I like Gamma Core, but the word Gamma always makes me think of bright blue/green turquoise colors.
I'm not a big fan of gamma core, I personally feel it's trying too hard to sound 'cool' by using 'cool' words such as gamma and words with X and Z
Gamma Core isn't the most original name in the world but it sounds cool.
Also, why are you getting a velociraptor?

I am reusing it from my old build. I may get a small SDD just for the OS and some applications.
Gamma Core?
fuck that, thats my computers name. just becuase i didnt finish the build log doesnt mean you get to steal the name
fuck that, thats my computers name. just becuase i didnt finish the build log doesnt mean you get to steal the name
It's "Gamma Core: REVIVE"
It's "Gamma Core: REVIVE"
wouldnt that be my computer's finished build log
wouldnt that be my computer's finished build log
What should it be called? Either some sort of bro title. Or maybe something to do with him switching from mac to windows.
Call it "Project Enlightenment" since your brother is switching to a PC from a Mac.
Speaking of which, what are you going to do with that iMac?
goddamnit
last night I ordered the rest of the parts for my mini p180 build
now I realise this is essentially a completely improved version of my build and no matter how well I do mine will look shit in comparison

That sounds liek a good idea for the title =D. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the iMac yet.

Sry about that man ><. Its not always about the specs that make a computer necessarily "better".
What are the specs of your computer going to be? And are you getting the black or white P180? And how are you going to go about building it?
Btw
Small Update: I've ordered the case and I'm about done selecting the parts for the Build. I will post an update once I get the case.
I've had the black mP180 sitting around for like a year now, I figured I'd move my current half shitty prebuilt in there but I decided to leave it and buy new shit, took a bit longer to get the funds than I expected hah
it's going to be i5 760, P55M-UD4, 4GB, XFX 650w and one cyclone 460 with the intention of a second in the future
so half the build is equal to yours and half will be one step down
problem is I don't have a huge amount of personal experience, I've built for friends and I've tinkered and repaired but I've never actually done a full on build for me and this is going to be my first attempt at real cable management, so even in quality of the build I highly doubt it'll match yours

Good luck on your build man. Your specs are similar mine, the only main difference is the cooling it seems.
hey thanks, good luck to you too
hope this turns out as nice as essence{red}

not that I think you need any luck after seeing essence

Sexy.
Awesome case, the only thing I don't like about it just a little bit is the ring pull things on the HDD bays. But other than that perfect!
