So heres what I have so far, I think it might be too generous considering who's probably gonna buy it, I'm most likely gonna upgrade the hard drive from 250gb to 1tb and the motherboard to one of the intel or gigabyte equivalents I was talking about, anyways is this pricing OK or too low?
Custom Computer Gaming Rig All parts were moderately used by me, now that I have enough money saved I can buy a newer build so I won't be needing this one anymore Parts used with original price: Rosewill Destroyer Case [Comes with 3 120mm fans] $49.99 250 GB Western Digital Caviar Blue Hard Drive 7200 RPM $38.99 4 gb [2gb x 2] Kingston HyperX T1 Series DDR2 1066 RAM $69.99 Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8 ghz Dual Core Processor $156.99 Dell 0R038D Motherboard (Socket 775) worth 139.99, but Intel and Gigabyte equivilants $79.99 APEVIA ATX-AQ700W 700W, SLI Ready Cross Fire Ready Power Supply, with blue LEDs $64.99 512mb EVGA NVIDIA 9800GT $62.99 Generic DVD-ROM Disc Disc Drive $16.99 *PLUS* Saiteck Eclipse II Backlit Gaming Keyboard $50.24 Total: $591.16 Selling used for $499.99
Not to break any dreams but that's more something like $350-$400
Not to break any dreams but that's more something like $350-$400
If you look at it from a spec-perspective, sure, but considering the case, he's going to find a retard to pay 500$ for that easy.
Is replacing the 250gb hard drive with a terabyte and replacing the motherboard with a respectable brand's worth it? like will it significantly elevate the price?
Put 8gb of RAM in and sell it to a retard?
Add a bigger hard drive, more RAM, and keep the case and sell it to the ULTIMATE RETARD!
Put 8gb of RAM in and sell it to a retard?
Or don't add anything and tell that it has 8gb.
i found a retard and sold a 200 dollar build for 800 dollars
Tell him that DDR3 actually means that it has 12GB of ram :v:
The first sign of trouble, and they take you to court.
Because capitalism???
The first sign of trouble, and they take you to court.
What? Isn't that what every profitable company does. Buys something for cheap then makes it way overpriced, says its amazing and sells it.
Yeah you cannot sue someone for selling something for more than it is worth, after the sale is done it is pretty much the end of line of a court case as the buyer has accepted the price and the product.

I have a computer I've been trying to sell 500gb hdd 2.4 ghz dual core 4 gb ram GT 240 w7 Been selling it on Craigslist for $300. I think it's priced right, considering I added about $250 worth of upgrades to it. I've gotten emails about it, but no dice selling it. I'm thinking of lowering the price to $250 So OP, don't get your hopes up right away
you know, everything in the world is technically overpriced, because everyone has a profit margin. when something comes out, it's over priced, wait a month, it's cheaper. wait a year, it's a lot cheaper, but then there is something new to droll over for. it's like this for cameras, tvs, pcs, all of that stuff. same with clothing, cars and basically everything we have and buy.

Then they'll take you to small claims for being a scam artist. advertise it as gamer-quality, for around $500-$600, if nobody bites within a month, drop it to around $450. Trust me I'm Jewish.
Actually talking about selling "gaming" builds, I got one I built the other day ASUS P5G41T-M LX2/GB 3GB DDR3 (currently at 800MHZ) Intel C2D e4600 (I might try and BSEL mod it to 1066 FSB) Nvidia 8800GS flashed with an evga 9800GT SC BIOS currently it only has a silly 160GB drive but I might chuck a 500GB one in SATA DVDRW
so i just found another retard that would by a 300 dollar netbook for 900 dollars woot!
