• Win 8 Intel Wifi Drivers not working
    0 replies, posted
I just installed Windows 8 on my laptop. However it says the Wifi is off (I've turned it on with the fn+f2 key but it still says it's off). So I go into the 'WiFi Manual Diagnostics' application and run a test I get this message on the 'Radio Test' 'Test Result; Failed' ' Test Summary; Software radio is OFF'. I've Installed; Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 8 and Intel My Wifi Dashboard Software for Windows 8 Laptop; Asus U36SG-DS51 Wifi Adapter; Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you. [editline]27th October 2012[/editline] Nevermind, I fixed this issue. Problem was when you click on the "Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 8" you get two 64bit options. wireless_15.3.50_De64.exe and wireless_15.3.50_e64.exe the e64 seemed to fix the wifi problems.
