Why do people call great things in the world Gay or stupid? - General

Do these guys need attention? Are they just some dumb kids thinking that if they think something is stupid, the whole world thinks like that? For example: Halo. Sure, the game is repetitive, but it's got a great story and a great idea of aliens. If the game would be 'gay' or stupid, it would have a low income of budget for these series of games, anyway! Coldplay. Great group. They have a good voices and sing very enjoyable music that makes you forget all the sad things and make you feel happy! The band, for me, was very great because of the Yellow song which was for God. Made me cry when I heard it first time :D And why the hell do they call rap awesome and the most best idea in the world? It is filled with swearing and calling your mom a bitch or your family a house of dumbasses and talk pointless stuff that has no use. I guess that's how children learn how to say swear words...

ITT: OP likes listening to Coldplay whilst playing Halo.

People use gay as a pejorative because they're uncreative. Halo rips off every sci-fi trope in the book. Also, Coldplay is great... if you've never listened to Radiohead. Rap is good, just if you listen to the right stuff.

Coldplay's lyrics are fucking dumb and make no sense.
