I also get The ipod "TOM" cannot be synced. the required disk cannot be found. Can anyone help me?

Do you have the latest itunes? Go into the start menu and look for apple software updater and see if theres an update.
yes latest version of itunes installed
Are there any things in your library with exclamation points by them?
are your songs on a remote server? because itunes can be a pain in the *** if you have songs on a remote server
No and no, every thing is as it normally is. Just wont send the songs over :(
Restore? or replace your music with new copies in your itunes library. I'm not to sure, haven't had this happen to me before.
Done about 20 restores on it :P. Tried putting the music on with both itunes and foobar. So I think its the ipod?
Try consolidating your library. Then go back and try to sync the iPod. If the error still pops up, put all of your music in a folder, delete the information from iTunes, and re-import the songs. If the problem still exists, then it may be your iPod.
Which iPod do you have?
Are there any things in your library with exclamation points by them?
The songs wouldn't play if the ! was next to them.
I have an ipod 30gb Video
I have some songs on the ipod, so does that mean that there could be some bad sectors?
