Look, there's a chance people will come because they care about stuff Notch does, then they read on about the actual event and actually get interested in that, whereas usually they might have just a word salad they aren't invested in and thus don't care about when skimming headlines. PCGamerN likely gets more pageviews that way. People might get interested in new stuff. Notch fans are informed. The only drawbacks are that the headline won't reach people explicitly looking for Ludum Dare or what Ludum Dare offers.
