I am building my first computer next week and i found a YouTube video on how to build a computer but i don't have everything the guy had in the video so i am afraid that the wiring is going to be different please help.
Do you want us to magically detect what components you have and don't have? List the components you have; you probably cannot build it since you don't have all the parts.
I have a intell core i3,Radeon hd 5450,seagate 500gb hard drive,and a Asus P8 H61-M LX PLUS R2.0 motherboard thats all i have right now
You need a case, ram, and a PSU.
Yes i know that is all coming in amazon
how much did you pay for the parts total?
like 800
You recently bought these parts for 800 dollars. You got ripped off. The 5450 is at least 3 generations old and not very good. An i3 and H61 motherboard isn't going to get you anywhere in performance and isn't worth nearly 800 dollars, and a single 500 GB presumably 7200 or 5400 RPM HDD isn't very good. You seriously should consider returning all of this if at all possible.
like 800
Well I hate to break it to you, but thats worth like 300-400$
The 5450 is the second worst dedicated graphics card you can currently buy, however it one of the only few that is able to crossfire with the GPU in any of AMD's current APU's, so crossfiring those is an "upgrade" if you have one of those (which you don't, so this is irrelevant anyway). It is worth around $30 maximum. The GT210 is the worst, around the same price and around 5% slower with almost double the power usage. In short, the 5450 is almost useless. Won't be good for much more than browser games.
How can you even get those parts for $800! You'd have to try REALLY hard to get such a bad deal as that one :v:
