• Automatically set a password to access a data server on system startup
    2 replies, posted
I have a server running in here where I store all of my programming and work data on. But every single time I start my PC I am prompted to enter the username and password to access the server. Is there a possible way to have windows automatically sign me onto the server when I start my system? Tried using CMD and batch files to run using the 'run' registry entry. But it still fails to Logon to the network server. The server itself is running Lubuntu-11.04 using Samba configured properly.
How exactly are you connecting to the server to get data?
How exactly are you connecting to the server to get data?
Using it as a network drive. Also this morning I ran into a problem with my flashplayer trying to disable hardware acceleration because the video card has bad drivers, but the settings pane is locked and I cannot disable it. There a way I can actually permanently turn it off?
