• Unresponsive iTouch touch screen

My little brother had accidentally poured milk onto the iPod Touch and now the screen is unresponsive, but sometimes it becomes responsive for about five seconds and then stops. Is there any way to fix this without having to get it replaced?
I would say he shorted out a micro-controller somewhere; if that is the case then your best bet would be to get a new iPod. If you are short on cash then you could try to take advantage of any warranty you might have on it. If the milk didn't spill in the female 30 pin connection port then there is a slight chance that the moisture detector didn't go off.
