Hi guys, I just finished building my computer but I'm having huge issues trying to install windows 7 on the system. After the window files load with the white progress bar at the bottom of the screen goes to the windows logo and after a minute or some it goes to a black screen. I've tried different video ports in the back thinking it was switching the output to something else but that doesn't seem to be the case. Spent quite a bit of time with the bios and made sure all the wires are plugged in correctly but nothing seems to fix this problem.
Anyone know what might be the problem?

Sometimes a black screen comes on for about a minute or 2, depends on the speed of your DVD drive. You could try installing it off usb
Oh man thanks, that worked !
Now Im getting an error though, when I select the HDD and try to install I get this:
"Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code:0x80070067"
Any idea what it could be?

Seems I still get the black screen when i set my drives to AHCI but if I change it to raid it loads up the install . I tried using a different SATA cable so know that's not the problem.I really am at a loss on how to fix this.
