• Cheap build for basic use?

Hello, basically, what I'm looking for is a set-up for a cheap rig, that I would just be using for basic things. Basic, to me is: VMWare Player Programming IDEs Blender/Photoshop Browsing the internet Using Skype, basic things like this. So, like I said, I'm just looking for a decent set-up, that's fairly cheap. I'm trying to replace my old laptop with this, as I don't travel with my laptop much anymore as it is. If you guys could recommend some decent set-ups for the stated uses that'd be awesome. I'd also be fine with pre-built machines if need be. Thanks for all and any help.
How cheap? You still need a price range. A decent cheap rig could mean $400 or below, like this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Q13j To some people $500 is cheap, $800 to others, hell $1200 can even be a 'basic' build. Gotta give a price range.
I'd say my price range is anywhere from 300-500 US dollars. How much RAM, and what type of processor would you think a PC like this would need?

For that price, this is probably the best I could think of. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Q5Cv For a real modelling / workstation computer you'd need a bit more money. If anyone else has any ideas chime in though
I'm not seriously into modelling, but I'd like to know how to do it a bit. Nothing intensive. I'd mostly be programming, using photoshop, and browsing the internet with it.

Well there ya go. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Q7Xs For a sub-500 workstation that's the best you can probably get.
