So if the issue started in mid June, how was it "two months without support" if it's July 1st?

Maybe they meant "two weeks" and accidentally over-sensationalized it.
I noticed not being able to connect back in April.
People play darkspore?
In all honesty, I'm just happy they got round to fixing it. Darkspore wasn't exactly one of their big AAA titles, and the sales for it had probably fizzled out already, so I'm surprised they didn't just ignore the issue altogether.
Ha, validation of all our DRM complaints. Once EA gets their initial sales revenue, they could give a shit about maintaining a game's servers.

How much shit could they give?

just like how valve doesn't give a shit when steam goes down every other second?
they fixed the fucking issue, an issue for a barely-played game in a timely matter, for god's sake. what's the problem here? do you expect servers to work constantly without fail for all eternity?

Because the issue was experienced by all in mid June, but the issue started for some in early May. For the people who experienced it in early May, it would have been two months.

When does Steam ever have any issues? I've been using Steam for two years and there's been like three times that I can recall and that wasn't horrible shitty DRM preventing me from playing my games, just from going online.
Why is it every time someone bad mouths EA, you are the first to jump to their defence. It's like you are the patron saint for bad video-games.
No-one is saying Valve is the god of online distribution and DRM but they are a thousand times better than anything EA will ever put out.
I never even heard of this game

Stop trying to play a game you have not played before when the servers go down every tuesday.
Also they go down randomly due to software/hardware hickups and failures whenever they happen.

It's hella fun to co-op it up with some friends.
