Battleborn looks so... slow and boring. They showcase this 'fast character' and still it looks like she has cinderblocks strapped to her legs.
Was kinda curious about Furious 4 when it was first announced but I suppose we'll never find out if it would be any good.
But will Vin Diesel come back?
This news only continues to further the notion that Gearbox is a master of cannibalizing their own projects, an Inglorious Basterds inspired 4 player co-op game would be far more interesting than this. Battleborn looks bland, like an uninspired mash-up of Borderlands and Warframe. Hopefully all of the shortcomings of this can be chalked up due to it being in development.
huh, this looks kinda fun.
At least the robot guy looks fun to me, I dig his gun thing and his other weapons and abilities, that girl with the fencing sabre looks horrible though. Mushroom monk guy looks fun too.

It feels like as if it has that generic "Cartoony fantasy setting but with a futuristic twist!" style that plagues F2P games.
Thank god!!!
Furious 4 was one of the biggest abominations I've ever seen.

You kidding? This is the worst thing.
The only problem with Furious 4 was it was carrying the BoA namesake. But then they changed it to it's own thing and it looked like a fun cartoony game.
Now it's being absorbed into a typical Moba. What a waste of an interesting idea.

There goes playing as a badass looking native american.
The worst thing is that they worked on this crap instead of finishing the BIA franchise.
Instead there has now been an 8 year gap between the last game and even a mention of the next.
Ironically thats where most of the hate came from.
I personally think they were just trying to combine the new success of borderlands with the BIA franchise.

Wait this is a moba? All this time I've been under the impression it was a standard shooter.
I figure they got outdone by Wolfenstein when it comes to the whole "Inglorious Basterds: The Game" thing.

Honestly, I never really got an Inglorious Basterd's vibe out of Wolfenstein: TNO except for the train scene.
That just felt like it came straight out of a Tarantino movie.
imho i cant stand gearbox games.
No technology whatsoever, clunky bad animated shooters from the year 2000.
I think the only reason why Borderlands works for them is that the "cartoony" cell shaded style gives them permission to bypass all focus on the engine and work on everything else.

Coming 2012
now thats just sad

I guess it either evolved into a moba, or the characters were maybe absorbed into a MOBA.
Its a moba??
They announced a Brothers in Arms game that is set in the Battle of the Bulge if that's any consolation.

Yeah lets see how long that one lasts.
They were gonna do a serious BIA game prior to Furious 4 and look what happened.
