I cant wait, 2012 cant come fast enough.
As much as I loved Metro 2033, I was really disappointed with how little I played it. I mean, I beat it within a day or two of its release and really never touched it again, not even after Ranger was added. Don't get me wrong, it was a great story-driven FPS, but I don't know if I can justify full price if it's gonna be the same length.
This is basically what I saw; but they did a much better version of describing it than I did in the Metro thread. :v:
I really wish the first one was less linear, or longer.
It had a great atmosphere and some seeds of RPG elements, but somehow it ended up being very linear.
Not that I'm against linear games, not everything has to jump on the free-roaming trend, but I really, really wanted to see more of the world, especially because of the map shown during the loading screens.
