Hey guys,
Im looking to sell my iphone, although im not sure if this is unlocked to any network or not,
i bought it at phones 4 u, the network i am with is o2 currently
i dont have another sim to try
the model number is MC604B
thanks
If you bought it new from a shop it should be unlocked
I don't think there is a way to tell without putting a different sim
im chatting too o2 online at he moment to see what they say, this is what i have got so far ''As you want to use a Non O2 Sim in the iPhone, we'll need to get it unlocked.''

O2 SAYS ''I've arranged for the iPhone to be unlocked and it'll be done within 10 days. Once it's done, please sync the phone with iTunes. You'll also get a text and email about this''
Apparently o2 charge you £15 to unlock an iPhone 4, but that's better than other unlocking companies who charge like £40

Unless they do it for free, I dunno V:v:V
O2 Have done it for free :) will take 10 days to kick in though as i said in the comment above.
At most 10 days; usually you can restore the phone after a day or two and iTunes will give you a big splash screen to confirm that it's been unlocked.

Oh really? how do you know this?
Experience. I used to have to deal with this sort of stuff when I worked for Apple. The process itself is automated, but carriers quote "a week or more" to set the correct expectation that it'll take time to go though (typically based on the backlog of requests to be authorised).
