Finally, after TS3 didn't have an Open For Business expansion, The Sims 4 is getting one in the first expansion. I loved setting up a side business right next to my house so my Sims literally never had to leave the lot.

I find it weird people complain their asses off about DLC but are totally fine with The Sims doing it.

Considering the large gaps of time between actual new Sims games, it doesn't actually seem to be that bad. I mean, $500 is a lot of money, but that's also spread out across the 5 or so years between games they've had on average
Sounds like a mixture of multiple expansions, actually. It's business, with aliens, and careers. I haven't touched the Sims in a long time but I know that's at least 1 expansion and a couple of stuff packs if not 2 expansions together.

yeah, people spend hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours on train games only to turn around and recommend against buying the game
people that are into trains are really really into trains

If you like trains, TS is a cheaper alternative to buying/building a layout and sinking money into scale engines and cars, which can quickly crawl into the thousands of dollars and hours and take up a ton of space in a house.
Those guys hit a jackpot consumer, people that were already used to spending thousands on a niche hobby.

If you read the review the guy said that there was a bug that was only recently fixed that would leave the process open in the background constantly ticking up your play time.

"that guy"?
It's not just one, there are tons of them. Seriously, looking through the reviews there are lots of people with 300+ hours and more than a few people with 1000+ hours that don't recommend it.

Shame it was so unbalanced though. The best way to get loads of money was to just set up a room with a poker table or some shit and an entry fee.
