• Good TV Tuner Software?

Hey, my brother got a TV Tuner (ATI TV Wonder HD 750u) in hoping of recording games from our PS2. The only problem is that the screen that the software that comes with it works to record unattended, so its some small 320x240 screen in the corner. Looking at it, I doubt he could stare at it hours on end, so I went out looking for some better recording software. I tried DScaler, but it kept telling me that a hardware driver couldn't be loaded and to reboot, along with it saying a line in some .cpp file couldn't be read. What would you recommend.
So will VLC record gameplay too, or will I have to use something like fraps?
pointless. just buy a TV
pointless. just buy a TV
Are you stupid? Read the fucking OP.
again... buy a TV and a recorder
again... buy a TV and a recorder
Maybe if you don't like quality. By the way, a TV and recorder would cost way more than a capture card.
yeah but easier to use and you get more miles from it.. TV tuner in a desktop is pointless.. either your going to watch TV or your going to be on the computer... you cant watch both screens at the same time. Thats why god made DVR lol TV tuner in a laptop is more sensible tho. I go by K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) It's easier for me to turn on my TV and watch it than to boot my computer, find the tv card program and go from there. If I want to watch a Blue ray or DVD i pop it in the Blue ray player hooked to my TV.. If i want to record I set the DVR for it..
I'm recording games. If I wanted to watch TV I would turn on the TV :downs:
