Today I attempted to play God Father on my desktop; but noticed something weird. After the first intro video the screen just starts randomly flashing. I've attempted reinstalling, updating hardware drivers and DirectX but no luck. Also tried running in compatibility mode with still no luck.
Possible fixes?
Intel Q6600 Processor
ATI HD 5670 Ultimate 1 GB video card
4 GBs of DDR2 memory
Windows7 x64
Did you use the Web installer when you updated DirectX? The Web installer gives you any older versions of DirectX that you don't have as well as the newest version, which may be needed for some older games, whereas some new DirectX installers will only install the newest version. Try going to the game properties/compatibility and run the program mode for Windows Vista(just vista)and Rin un 640x480

It's still flashing even running it on those settings.

Compability mode for Windows 98, disable visual themes. Try running it in all modes with disabled visual themes then if it is still not working, try the no cd and intro fix patches here: vwww.gameburnworld.com/.../gamefixes/thegodfatherthegame.shtml even if that's not the problem, still ty is anyways
