This is getting ridiculous now.
Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk, British Gas, M&S, now Vodafone.

Companies will always cheap out on security. It's cheaper for them to suck up the damages of lost customer data, than constantly ensure that security of their entire environment is high.

Which is really stupid if you can setup your design/concept to include those things by default.
I know nothing is unhackable and absolute security doesn't exist, but you can prevent most leaks if your environment doesn't have big flaws and shit is maintained.
