In your opinion, what are some ways Facepunch can be improved? - General

I couldn't find an "Ask us more about the forums" thread in GD anymore, so I decided to make this quick thread about simple things you'd like to see changed. Obviously we don't have the power to change anything ourselves, but we can all imagine, right? The one things that bugs me most is my title. A lot of you have seen me bitch about it, too. I made it myself, but it was just a temporary thing that I liked. I know there are other users out there like this, too. I think, that if you [B][I]bought your own title[/I][/B], that you should be able to reset your title to "Gold Member", or just delete it, if you're a blue member, for free. I mean, come on, you already got our money, the least we should be able to do is delete our own customization. The mods and garry aren't going to suffer because of that, at least I don't see how. So, yeah, what do you wish was different around here?

bring back the AUMATF

It would be nice to see smartness and rating reputation brought back. I'd like a reformation of GD, which essentially became the lifestyle subforum since they no longer have their own hole in the wall anymore. GD seems like it's slightly less of a shithole today, but it basically eventually became a worthless subforum after the purging of other subforums and them all congregating to GD. I'd like to see the community actually do stuff, (this is my biggest point,) which I think can be done and we actually do have the power to change, but we don't really have a community organizer, or any outstanding people in the general community anymore. Even some of the divided communities have grown older and their best people have left FP because FP has become overpopulated with people who don't bring anything to the table. I know people that have left because they used to see Facepunch as a community or group of communities that you could learn from, and grow from, but the better people in the community left, a newer generation of people came in, and if they were smart enough, too, they'd see there was little to gain from here anymore and subsequently leave as well. Overall, I think Facepunch can be improved by idiot culling more I guess; I think was really great garry just came out and made a black hole thread to get rid of people, because frankly, there are plenty of idiots here that just shouldn't be here.

I'd like to see the search function brought back for us Bluies. I'd also like to see a return of flagdog, that was always fun.

Give blue members access to view posts (at minimum their own posts >_>) and to allow searching. Also open registration.
