Off to Uni next month so I need a decent desktop so I can keep in touch with my gaming side.
My current is staying at home because it's shit.
My new build needs ideally 4gig ram, 3ghz processor would be nice, HDD doesn't need to be huge, I have dealt with a 250gig for years but anything higher would be a bonus really, the case must be sexy looking (Like this) graphics card I know fuck all about, as long as it's decent I will be happy.
Keyboard, mouse, monitor etc I can sort out at a later date. (I have a mouse anyway)
I don't know where to start when it comes to building etc so help is most appreciated, thanks facepunch.
Make sure the price includes VAT :comeback: fucking vat.
you're not going to get anywhere near what you're asking for, apart from the case because shitty cases like that are cheap
if you doubled the budget then yeah
Gonna need a little more than that unless you want a goddamn HP with a 4250
Nevermind going to stick with the one I saw awhile back on ebay. Has everything I wanted.

What games could this run and how well?

Same with this:

a 210 and i3 integrated, neither of those are going to be doing much
unless by gaming side you meant popcap

the PSUs are probably terrorist grade, too
Yeah, you're going to have problems running even Source games on that. Save up at least 500 if you want anything remotely decent.
If you want to play source on high you would need atleast £500-£600 pound for that, if you got £350 you can probably get another £350

It looks like shit man
Here's my very best budget build:

Actually get this GPU instead of the one in my build:

£5 more but very worth it
