Hello guys! I'm in need of a new gaming desktop. I'm from Canada if that helps. I can't salvage anything from this current pc except the OS. I already have a monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. so all I need is the pc itself.
Budget - $1,000+ (flexible price)

That's an i7 and not an i5. If you want the i5 then it's the 3570k you want to be looking for. Will you be doing any overclocking? If so, you'll want to invest in an aftermarket cooler. The stock one won't be suitable. As for a PSU, it depends on whether you want an overclock and if you plan on running another 680 in the future. With a $1000 budget I'd go with something like this http://ncix.com/products/?sku=58861&vpn=OCZ-ZX850W&manufacture=OCZ%20Technology&promoid=1058. The case is your shout, depends on whether you want a window and how important good airflow is to you.

Sorry, I meant the i7. I might overclock in the future, but not right now. I might get another 680 down the road so I suppose an 850w would do (or would 750w be ok?). I am clueless on the case completely. I'd like to have something with good airflow and cable management, and a window would be nice but not needed. I was looking at the 600t and a friend of mine said it was good so I might go for that one. Is everything I have currently compatible and ok?
The i7 isn't worth it over the i5. It doesn't matter whether you have the money or not, for gaming it's simply a moot point. Even with a GTX 680 you'll be bottlenecked by that and not your CPU (At least at a framerate that matters), even if it was a i5 750, or even older.
Update!

Don't get that ram with the shitty heatsinks, it'll only get in your way if you ever install an aftermarket fan. Spend $1 less and get this http://canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_312_612&item_id=048880

The OCZ ZX series is actually pretty great. I can't be bothered looking for other PSUs right now on that site, but I'd give it a thumbs up.

I'm hoping to buy this either today or tomorrow, so suggestions would be appreciated! I'm still undecided on a few things and I'd appreciate the help.
I dropped the 680 to a 670, because the 670 is $100 cheaper and there is only a 5-15% performance difference. Stay with it or no?
Should I get the UD3H motherboard or the UD5H? One of the guys at the shop told me I might as well get the ud3h and save some money to put towards the other stuff.
I switched the ram to the kingston hyperx blu, will that be fine?
I'm completely clueless when it comes to SDDs so I just chose one that looked alright to me, suggestions?
For the HDD, they said at the shop to go with a Western Digital Caviar Black. From what I've seen and been told is to stay away from WD and go for the Spinpoint F1 but I just need confirmation.
If you have any other suggestions they would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
OCZ ssd's usually have a short lifespan, go for a Crucial M4 or a Samsung 830 for reliability. The ram you chose is fine and 670 can be overclocked past a stock 680, so it's definitely a better buy. WD blacks and Spinpoint F3's aren't too different in terms of speeds, but the Caviar Black ends up being a little more expensive. The only huge difference I can see between the UD3H and UD5H is the 5H has more SATA ports and USB ports, not really worth the $30 extra.

It's more than that. The UD5H has all of the PCI-E slots as version 3.0. That x4 3.0 is 2 times the speed of the x4 2.0 on the UD3H. Like you said it also has 3 more Sata 6GB/s ports and three times the amount of USB3 headers. I run a UD5H and it's well worth the $30 over the UD3H in the long run.

Aclonegeek. Get CanadaComputers to price match the i5-3570K to Newegg.ca's pricing. Should save you a bit. Also keep in mind that with that RAM you're really limiting your cooling options. The RAM slots on the UD5H are very close to the CPU socket and with my Mushkin Blackline 16GB kit I had to move the fan upwards on the heatsink on my Hyper 212 Evo because the ram is right up against the heatsink.
I'd also take a look at the Cooler Master Storm Trooper. Better feature wise than the HAF XM and it's a full tower so you get more room.
