If you like RPG's and considerable difficulty making for a memorable experience while not giving a shit about graphics, get it. Seriously. It's a very fun game and full of content on its own and with mods there is so much more to do.

Then get Napoleonic Wars, still lots of regiments around.
There's even a mmo style mod with a huge open world map. This game is great
