Doubtful...wait....Australia? Maybe
Depends on the bank.
very illegal. im reporting you. your ip will be immediately backraced.
Will consequences ever be the same!?
I'm not sure about any other banks, but in Queensland with St George, my brother has a debit card and he is 12. It can't be used in the internet though. Neither can my current one, but my last one from when I was 13 could. Make sure you get one with the cirrus logo or whatever on it.
you dun goof'd
Not at all. It is not illegal to own one, but your bank might have a restriction on it to keep children from spending all their money at once.
Shouldn't be. You'll need a parent signature though.
I'm 15 (don't bitch about it), living in New South Wales and I have a Visa Debit. However you don't actually have ownership of the card, your parent/legal guardian does, but you still have your name on it. I'm not sure about the age requirements but I got mine when I was 14. I can use it online as well but the only real use I have for it is for paying for stuff on the go if I don't have any notes (considering I don't keep many with me). When I do use it at retail stores those that are behind the counter don't really give a shit that you have one. And by the way as I said you'll need a parent/legal guardian to have ownership of it, they'll also need to be with you when you apply for one of course. I'm with the Newcastle Permanent but other banks might be different.
In my country, we can get a card whenever we want... Just need your parents to agree :smug:
not sure about 12 year olds, but my 14 year old cousin has a debit card. We live in Victoria too.

Why would a 12 year old need a debit card?
12 is the age you are allowed one. The problem is though that you couldn't possibly be 12. You are either asking on behalf of someone else you are are on the wrong website.
A 12 year old doesn't need one.
I am 12.
Informative.
my dad will get me one when i turn 13 sooo when that happens youll see more steam games on my profile the one im gett only has a spending limit
very illegal. im reporting you. your ip will be immediately backraced.
How does one supposed to backrace an IP address?
yes, even asking about it is an immediate death sentence.

Only Visa Electron which you can't use on Internet.
