If you're a student you could get the student prime for free on Amazon therefore getting free Twitch prime.

I absolutely loved CIV IV, the worst part about is the doom stacks, but you can combat that with mods. Speaking of which, the modding community is genuinely insane, last time I checked it's still semi-active (as semi-active as a 13 year old game's modding community can be). I had to have spent orders of magnitudes more hours into Fall From Heaven than the vanilla game, and I played a lot of CIV IV.
In short, to anyone curious about it, I'd say at least try it, even at it's worst, CIV IV is still a solid game.

It's why I said [U]arguably[/U] because people are pretty split on IV and V. [U]That being said I'm not saying IV is a bad game.[/U]
I don't HATE IV, but going from Civ III to IV and playing having dealt with clunky UI and poorly thought out combat (Dooms stacks for example) kinda put me off from it and it's not that I don't like IV, on the contrary I've spent way to much time playing it when it came out. I just find V not really a vastly superior game but certainly felt better rounded and thought out game that IV was, but maybe that's just me.

I dunno I never got into the IV modding community or any of the modding communities for CIV for that matter. I had the CD version which may or not be in a broken jewel case in a closet in my parents house somewhere. This being before the advent of steam workshop I never went looking for mods either. IV is on sale in a bundle for roughly $7 might pick it up and give it another try. Good mod recommendations?
