Okay, I know this is going to be the silliest question here, but how do you install iOS 3.1.3
I just got an iPhone 2G from my dad since he got another smartphone and since he's no computer whiz, he had iOS 2 on it.
So as far as I know the newest iOS that I can get on that old thing is 3.1.3, so how do I install it?
If it's that simple as running 3.1.3 firmware than sorry for wasting your time.
That phone is like the Windows 98 of Windows.
To install firmware, update through iTunes.
