Busy street
There were sandbags on the road, and the car predicted that the bus was going to yield and let the car merge. the bus did not yield and so the car hit the side of the bus at 2mph. Google have improved the algorithm as a result.

The comments on these articles never fail to amuse me.
People love to blame other drivers in this sort of situation, yet fail to recognise that self-driving cars are not AI and can't account for human error.
I don't know if it's the same where you guys come from, but here public transport always has the right of way, the car should've stopped. Either way, noone was hurt and the software was improved as a result, an accident was bound to happen sooner or later.
So basically the computer is one of those assholes who always cuts me off. Rude motherfucker.

bbc's clickbait articles on google's cars is fucking astoundingly retarded
Are you getting cut off at 2mph?
The bus was going 15, the car was going 2.
bbc is fucking astoundingly retarded
I'd say this is pretty accurate as well.
