I see links like this all over the sight. Not only Facepunch, but other forums and Youtube is filled with advertisements I haven't seen before.
I want to know how to get rid of these. I tried installing scripts and addons like AdBlock, but they don't work. Any help would be appreciated.
Tried checking if you have any plugins installed or "toolbars" ? Might be worth opening firefox without addons and see if it still happens (Firefox > Help > Restart with addons disabled ), if it keeps happening still I guess a malware / Virus scan would be the next best thing. If it doesn't happen anymore then try enabling addons 1 at a time and see if one of them is causing it
Check for add-ons You do not remember installing, or ones that look suspicious and disable them. If you are going to check for malware use malwarebytes. If you still have ie installed go on there to see of you still have the problem there. Of so it might be malware instead of an add-on issue
