http://www.flightradar24.com/ this is p cool, and really accurate too. it even shows you the path an airplane has already flown where the fuck is this guy going [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] oh and this is why americans dont use trains

He's pretty low altitude so my guess is he's just a hobby pilot.
Also if you have Siri you can ask it "wolfram flights overhead" or "what planes are above me" and it will tell you what flights and plane types are above you, it's pretty neat.
Oh and the cockpit view is pretty cool too, it lets you see the flight from the pilot's perspective. It's like a flight sim with zero effort required. :v:
*looks at UK* Oh that's a lot of planes... *scrolls to United States* *computer crashes*
Holy fuck that's a shitload of planes
lol there isn't a single airplane flying in africa
lol there isn't a single airplane flying in africa
GEC8276, DLH504, DLH506, IBE3723, and AFR775 would like a word with you [editline]11th October 2012[/editline] oh look SAA087 too
I never realised planes flew in some of these places, pretty cool seeing where they are but would be cool to know where they are off to.
I never realised planes flew in some of these places, pretty cool seeing where they are but would be cool to know where they are off to.
You can click on them then it shows where they're going.
You're taking a pretty inefficient journey to New York, man
he's going to new york you jelly and puss filled fagbag (User was banned for this post ("Flaming again" - Orkel))
I wonder if I'll be able to see the military planes that fly over my house with this when they're circling around.
Watching a plane about to land in Cork, Ireland from Barcelona. I feel weird for being so interested by this :v:
he's going to new york you jelly and puss filled fagbag
He came from memphis, though I got them the wrong way round
He came from memphis, though I got them the wrong way round
well obviously still there is a perfectly reasonable explanation of what he's doing. You see, as far as I know the stats says the end of his trip, therefore he's probably stopping at other places but New York will be the end for today. it all makes sense
-snip- Your previous reply made me remember why I don't visit FT
Very cool to see how many planes are in the air. Especially the cockpit view.
I wish I could be like the guys in Chronicle and visit some of these planes.
Waiting until someone witnesses a plane crash
no crashes over albuquerque so far. disappointing come on jessie kill your bitch already
Apparently, this plane has sent out a Squawk 7700 (emergency). Shit better happen now. The plane landed in Paris safely. :v:
